thank you for holding, but all available representatives are taken...
the cable guy was here for 2.5 hours. 2 of which was spent waiting on the line for some person to flush the modem. What's funny is that the cable guy never actually got an answer. he just hung up, went outside, took off the trap, came back and then I had internet. He also said that we would now get free cable TV. If only we had a TV...

The house is 90% setup, with the refrigerator and large couch still downstairs. And we still don't have a receiver. I did find ONE of the bizillion missing screens so that when I open the living room window, the moth population of madison doesn't stop by and chill on the couches. The FREE washer and dryer also work well. Overall I am pleased with the house so far. Mifflin has been pretty darn dead. I have been up pretty late every night and there have been almost no people about, although this could be attributed to the excessive waterworks of the sky.

I'm about to start my first live fantasy football draft. Pick number 10. (out of 10)

Heya! - now that I'm in Chicago, you are more than welcome to crash here. Will there be a Madison Halloween get-together this year?

If you can make it out here, we can arrange some Japanese cooking (or a trip out to Mitsuwa - the biggest Japanese supermarket in the Midwest).
