nothings
So after reading this post, I finally gave in and had to try.

luckily, my first, middle and last names are all world famous, but the last definetly stood out:

.. is so clearly a nice guy.
.. is one of the world's most photographed models
.. is not your average joe nerd ufologist
.. is a winner of the paganini international violin competition in genoa
.. is gary collins
.. is a moron [how am i to keep tabs on my friends that get caught]
.. is known as an innovator in the care of his patients
.. is atypical
.. is a first

Bruhaha on the otherhand is:
.. is about in those women's fashion magazines
.. is just so damn big
.. is happening there in the organizational dynamics
.. is beginning to sound like a page out of the national enquirer
.. is incredible
.. is done and they're happy

the project that is to be finished before mifflin is yet to be finished. and i'm taking grace running again.

mix also inspired my desire to go to LTM this weekend. too bad the finances and schoolwork don't agree. I wonder if I'll ever make that thing.

finished
the week has come to an end and that end was the terrace. I missed the fiasco with this dude at the brewer game (that sheets lost), but I did hear about a lovely tale of two twin brothers.

one happens to be studying abroad; the other is home in madison. Last summer one decided he really had to relieve himself while on a long road trip. His brother was asleep. The mountain dew bottle became full and the sleeping brother woke up. He was thirsty and took a big swig. It didn't taste too good.

Now, normally the next logical step would be for the dew drinkin' brother to get back. No, that's not what happens. Because the first brother knows eventually the favor will be returned to him, he decides to play another prank. Lets just say this was a take on Van Wilder, with a dog replaced by a human (the brother), and the pastries replaced with brownies. And yes, he documented the entire experience and the photos are at the bottom of the pan.

The escalation point from here scares me.

Saturday Night Fever
I'm still researching for my ME450 class. I've been reading articles about air shocks and stabalizing bars and all other parts of the suspension. I've even read, not browsed, READ the Bosch Automotive Handbook. Luckily most of my time has been spent on the internet and I've gotten distracted by new fuel injectors and racing schools. Which means, I've been reading a long freaking time about vehicles. During my adament reading session with Bosch I apparently fell asleep on the book. Ansel woke me up and invited me out. Couldn't go, didn't go, wanted to go, but didn't go.

I also "watched" the Brewers game online today. 7-4 is a pretty nice start to the season, especially when we just killed the red hot Mets. It's also weird how 7-4 for the BrewCrew makes them idols in Wisconsin and the 6-4 Yanks fans are wondering what's wrong with their team.

Only six more hours till sunshine.

One Helluva Lunch
So the last couple Thursdays, I've been going down to the Hospital cafeteria and getting a bite to eat for lunch. I buy a really tasty sub, milk and a bag of chips. I'm thinking this is pretty healthy. I then look at the Milk Chug label (cause I'm a little bored) and read that the milk is ~20% fat. OK, it's milk. I look closer. 210 calories... per 1 cup... 4 servings per container... The milk is 840 calories alone. That was my healthy part of lunch. The sub is a combination of salami, ham, and pastromi topped with lettuce, pepperchinis, and awesome italian dressing. Unfortunately, the local deli does not put calories on their label, but I will assume it exceeds 550. Then the Sun Chips add another 420 calories.

This totals around 1800 calories for lunch... and I'm still hungry and thirsty. wtf.

The KEYS man, THE KEYS
So I finally get ahold of Greggory the Third and find out he has my Japanese cell phone... but no keys. NO KEYS. He also said he has not found any more pieces to the puzzle known as Friday Casino Night 2006.

Other notes: wearing black anything in the sun, is hot.

Two of my friday classes are canceled. Still have one quiz.

My head is and has been pounding like crazy for the last 3 days.

I believe we now have 2 EPs matched and Jonathon just got something from his Russian TN, so that should be a third by the end of the week. If only I could find MYSELF a decent internship for the summer...

grades
It's now two weeks after I took my fluids exam, and today, is when I finally found out my grade. 97. HOLY SHIT. I think that's the highest grade I've gotten on a real engineering exam. Pretty excited.

Then I think about the "not-so-97" I got on a different one. Ooops. I am still waiting to hear back from this awesomely cool fellow. Andrew also found my Wisconsin sweatshirt that I "lost" while carrying a newbie three blocks and up two flights of stairs.

Saturday recap:
I finished the 10K for the American Cancer Society in 43:25. I wasn't racing, so I'm happy. 7 min/mile almost exactly. I probably would've went a little faster, but I was helping my old roommate pace himself for the first 2.5 miles. I still feel exhilarated from that race. THey had live bands and free fruit and the atmosphere was just cool to be around.

THen I ventured to Memorial Union, to find out Stones was in Grainger. Finally make it to the conference and do some dancing for high schoolers interested in going to Madison. They were from Illinois and they said we were the highlight of their weekend trip.

Then I went home to put on my shoes and then ran down to Vilas Park (1.5 miles away) to find out my friends were NOT playing kickball at Vilas Park. THey switched parks an accounts of so many Madisonites being at the park, and us wanting to bring a keg for the game. Eventually I make it to the other park and play kickball, beer-in-hand, for a good 2 hours. We decide to head it back to watch the hockey game. Brilliant! idea. As I'm watching the game at the Bradley Center on TV, I keep remembering the Badger Hockey Showdowns from years past. Very fond memories of that place, especially getting on the Jumbotron for painting my chest. Still remember the North Dakota/Wisconsin championship game a couple years ago. That was crazy. I so wish I was in Milwaukee when we won the title. Yeah, WISCONSIN MEN'S & WOMEN'S HOCKEY NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, BABY!

After that exhausting game, I head it back to the house and fall asleep till midnight, inwhich Mix then drags me out for a "night-cap." Luckily there were only so many drinking hours left in the night, so I couldn't empty my entire wallet.

That was a long Saturday.

And another whopper of a piece falls smack in my lap...
Your phone is at Kappa Sigma, we found it on the first floor. -Dan

Hopefully this phone retrieval leads to my coat retrieval which leads to the key retrieval which leads to knowledge of what happened Saturday morning. If not, Bruni is getting f'ed in the A.

uhh...........
due to some legal situations still in the mix, this weekend will not be thoroughly commented on.

Just know that the following items are now missing:
1. My kickass Japanese cell phone
2. My awesome and ONLY jacket
3. keys and cc
4. Michigan's soul

Found:
one "no parking sign"
two completely stunned dudes from Cornell
three reasons why I can't jumpstart a minivan
four Madisonites wandering around Ann Arbor in completely different directions

5 more weeks of school left to figure out what the hell happened on Friday night.
