i will be moving to Mifflin street in 2 days. austin in 3.
my brother just started dating a girl he works with. just so happens that this cool chica knows trent. not just knows him, but lived with him in Chadbourne. she also came to THE Full Moon Party. she will stay unnamed for a short while longer.
feels weird, but if I stay on Mifflin, it will be the longest I've lived in one house since... the last @house. mix is stoked since coming back from ssc. I am ... well not. no drive in the least for doing anything @ related. I think subconciously this is why I don't feel I should live in the @house. The org depends on leading by example, and I'm not going to, lead. I"m doing my own thing this next six months and trying out a different lifestyle, so to speak. Having my older family members in Madison and living with a 26yo this spring has changed my ambitions. ALthough I'm still trying to figure out exactly what they are. still alittle hazy.
I will run in my first marathon 9 weeks from the time I return from Austin. It felt so far away at the beginning of summer and now its zooming ever closer. I have yet to surpass the 16 mi barrier. the recent lifting binge should help get me past this plateau.

I'm not sure yet if you're blowing all of this out of proportion quite a bit. But we'll see, just make sure you're open to other people joining in activities for your alternative lifestyle... meaning ask us to do things.

Jennavive: my alternative lifestyle isn't quite what I meant on my infamous post; i'm not taking classes, so I'm going to live a different "lifestyle" in madison. not sure how to explain better.

there's more to @ than doing core work and all of that. the whole H4TF thing that everyone overlooks and no one has figured out yet. just not being a d-bag is pretty good. It's something that people have to get used to--that there is life after @ and you don't have to immediately drop off after it. H4TF is a stage.
There's a conf in Germany actually, called Imagine. Oct 27-29. It won't only be @ers and focuses on life after a leadership position and whatnot.
