Leaning to Fly
So my life has hit a snag... no more like a huge freaking pot hole that's left the bruni cruiser with a bent rim and a flat tire. Mifflin will most likely have to wait for another year. I may even be changing cities, countries, majors, shoes; whatever needs to be done.

on a different note, the school of nursing is offering more hours this summer and I will be getting paid to learn PHP-SQL. Although this was never my plan of action, it seems to be the path I'm taking. Maybe I should do computing; maybe I shouldn't.

Running has taken a huge hit since the great start of 20+ mi/week. I have been playing basketball and volleyball to keep active, but it's not the same.

Last night, I finally watched "Super Size Me". Crazy what changes that documentary created. I give mad props to Morgan and his effort. It seriously needed to be done and he did a great job making a watchable movie about it. In fact, I didn't get Taco John's after watching it. I was craving it for sometime and I was going to get a late night snack, then decided against. Altough, I'm in no way overweight, I am a very unhealthy eater. My genes and youth are carrying me right now and that won't last forever. I also need to change my diet for running the marathon and just not being so damn tired all the time. It's weird, but I didn't start eating out UNTIL college. Sounds weird, but I never would go out to eat because the nearest fast food (McDonalds) was over 15 miles away. So I would always eat home-cooked meals. THen the dorm cafeteria/the overly long trek to any grocery store became available. Then State Street and it's plethera of fat-fried foods. I have gone through the same stages as Morgan did, except on longer time scales. Fat kills.
