Well, I bought the ticket to NYC. Completely missed the "Booze Cruise" though. My plane from Madison to Chicago got delayed an hour because fighter jets were practicing taking off and landing. I then got pushed back to a later flight out of chitown, but found out that every plane to New York City was waaaay late. Delta wouldn't give me my original flight back. Bitches. So this flight got delayed over 3.5 hours also and it turns out that I left Chicago as the boat was leaving the harbor in New York. I finally arrived at the NYU dorms, just as the boat docked. I did get a free drink on the plane ride from chicago to new york, though.
As this is my second full day in New York state, I have seen NO attractions and will not be seeing any until at least tomorrow. I decided to visit a friend from HS that's going to the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) which is located in the great town of Poughkeepsie. It's a 2 hour train ride north of the city. The Jamaican dinner I just ate has enraged the gods in my lower abdominal region. Looks like we're visiting a microbrewery tonight. Some of the ladies in the CIA will be joining us; although, martinis still seem out of place.
